Power Of Won Karate 2010 Calender   

Dear Students,

 I have included most of the events for the 2010 Calendar to allow students and their families the opportunity to plan well ahead in not double-booking certain special Club days. The Tournament, Budo Presentation Night and Group Photo are three of the most important events of the Power of Won year and I would hope that all students do their best to keep these days free to be able to attend.  

Power Of Won Karate    2010 Calendar – No. 1

 Term 1

Saturday 13th March: National All Styles Tournament – Round 1. Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre. Aughtie Drive, Albert Park.

Sunday 21st March: FREE Club BBQ & Football Challenge. Where: Eltham North Adventure Park, Wattle Tree Road, Eltham North. When: 12p.m. till later in the afternoon.

Tuesday 23rd March: Final Tuesday Class for the Term. Party Food and Games Night.

Friday 26th March: Final Friday Class for the Term. Party Food and Games Night.

Term 2

Saturday 1st May: National All Styles Tournament – Round 2. Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre. Aughtie Drive, Albert Park.

Tuesday 11th May & Friday 14th May:  Week 1 of Grading Nights.

Tuesday 18th May & Friday 21st May:  Week 2 of Grading Nights.

Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th June:  Senior Students Karate Camp Weekend - No. 1

Sunday 20th June:  2010 POWER OF WON - JUNIOR TOURNAMENT

Tuesday 22nd June: Final Tuesday Class for the Term. Party Food and Games Night.

Friday 25th June: Final Friday Class for the Term. Party Food and Games Night.

Term 3

Friday 30th July: 2010 Junior Sleepover. Children are to be picked up by 9:00a.m. Saturday morning. More details to follow.

Saturday 31st July: National All Styles Tournament – Round 3. Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre. Aughtie Drive, Albert Park.

Sunday 1st August: I.S.K.A. Tournament – Box Hill

Tuesday 17th August & Friday 20th August:  Week 1 of Grading Nights.

Tuesday 24th August & Friday 27th August:  Week 2 of Grading Nights.

Sunday 29th August: Lion Bushido Tournament. Knox City Centre.

Term 4

Saturday 18th September: National All Styles Tournament – Round 4. Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre. Aughtie Drive, Albert Park.

Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th October: Senior Students Karate Camp Weekend - No. 2

Friday 22nd October: 2010 GROUP PHOTO

Saturday 23rd October: National All Styles Tournament – State Titles. By invitation only.

Sunday 24th October: I.S.K.A. Tournament – Box Hill

Tuesday 2nd November:  Melbourne Cup – No Training

Saturday 6th Nov: BUDO / PRESENTATION NIGHT Student of the Year / Dinner Dance. Most important Karate Night of the year. Held at St Mary’s Primary School Hall.  All students, families and friends are encouraged to attend.  We usually get 180+ people.  Please keep this date free.

Tuesday 7th December: Final Class for the Year. 

Wednesday 8th December: Special Christmas Event. Still to be advised.
